Date: March 17th, 2010 10:10 PM Author: Hot theater internal respiration applied to all the least selective m.d. schools in northeast. got 2 interviews. so far rejected from 1. i should get invited to 1 more school because of certain academic things i did this year. but not too optimistic. this guy got drunk today and he told me about this other guy, who is a really nice,cool guy and said that some professor at this med school told him that guy is not "blabla school material". and the professor who said it is one of those passive-aggressive faggots. it's something about how he likes to take free food and doesnt show up for charities. but the interviews that i did go to i sabotaged myself. just didnt express myself well. so they probably marked me as "lacking communication skills". i have 3.3 and 37. i am certain if i had an acceptance letter right now i would pick up some mad bitches now. i would be at the bar right now. |

OTOH: medicine involves actual hard work for many years and then you get to stick ur finger up an old's ass and smell it, and then pay almost everything to taxes, student loans, insurance, etc. |

Date: March 17th, 2010 10:21 PM Author: Hot theater internal respiration there are not many schools outside of northeast that are actually less selective than your local private schools or state schools. i guess schools like tulane, st louis, rfu, etc might be open. of those states you listed only utah has a med school and it's not open for out-of-staters but i would gladly apply there for residency becausae they actually have a lot of top programs and skiing. but really nothing wrong with my choice of schools. in those courses you listed i did not get any A's except for Ochem2. but i've taken more advanced courses since and got better. and at the 2 interviews they did not question my academic credentials. medicine involves 4yrs of not caring about any work and then having a steady job where you make >$150/hr at will. |

I gave a bad answer to a question at the first school I interviewed at because of nerves, so I'm pretty certain I won't get in there. The interviews with the d.o. school were really the only ones I had that were flawless.
my gpa is low mainly because I'm lazy and not very competitive as far as grades. sucks to be in classes with a bunch of premeds. |

I am unemployed now. if i dont get into med school my only choices of employment with a bio degree are: usmc officer, enlisted, nypd, er scribe, paramedic. even those lab research jobs that pay $10/hr want you to have "lab experience in such and such techniques" and a 2yr commitment. at least in the military you get some respect from your peers. you're not judged by those old faggots with spectacles. |
