Tuition is rising at a rate of like 9% a year. And schools treat incoming students differently from current students. If you are already a student, the increase is maybe half that (from 1L-2L). And it's even less going from your 2L to 3L.
Scenario 1 - goes to school right away: 45,000 2010-11 47,250 2011-12 49,500 2012-13 141,750
Scenario 2 - waits a year: 49,000 - 15,000 2011-12 49,500 - 15,000 2012-13 52,000 - 15,000 2013-2014 105,500
Not a bad deal. But still might more than make up for this by practicing law for an extra year. |
