Going to run TM from now until Boxing Day (8 weeks) and see what kind of gains I can make.

If I had to guess, I'd say my current maxes are:

Bench: 260

OHP: 170

Box Squat (above parallel): 325

Deadlift: 315x5

I'm 6' and weigh around 190.

Today I did the following:

Box squat (above parallel): 275x5x5

Bench: 215x5x1 DB Press: 80x4

DB rows: 100x8x3

Dips: 30lbs.x10x3

Shitty workout today, bros.

Front squat--185x3x3 actually struggled to get the third rep on all 3 sets.

OHP--160x2x3 My reps @ 160 have fallen from 5 to 4 to 3 to now 2 over the past 3 weeks.

Back extenions--5x10 w/35lbs.

Pullups--7, 5, 5

Time to get serious about moving my numbers beyond where they've been before and life in general. Right now, I'm below 50% (percentage grade) in all 4 of my classes. I've also been eating like total shit of late--prob 180 grams of fat and 200g of sugar daily. Really need to turn that all around. Going to write down some rules re: diet/study time/etc. tonight and hold myself to them from now until Xmas.

you just said above that your problem is hip fexibility. if you cant bend at the hips properly, you cannot get into an athletic stance, you cannot squat, you cannot dead lift, you cannot do texas properly.

i imagine the reason you like box squats is because you cant maintain balance with your ass out back so you need to sit on the box. this is similar to a wall sit, or using the faggot smith machine with your feet way in front of you.

in other words, you are doing a leg press but not engaging your hips, ass or hamstrings.

just work on your flexibility.

what the other faggots in your gym can do doesn't mean much.
