tl;dr: even if you go to HLS, your fucked if you hate law. Law is the irin chains of BIGDEBT, NOBIZ and NOFINANCE, and you will be BIGLAW debtslave. |

This really needs a footnote that says "99.79% of people end up utterly detesting the practice of law and the profession as a whole within 2 years of graduation. The remaining 0.21% are judges or work in academia along with a few plum government positions." |

I spent probably half of my week this week e-mail about, and populating form documents, with various lender-approved notary blocks for dozens of form documents. Apparently this is worth $420 an hour for some giant corporation. And even though it's mind-numbingly boring, it needs to be done RIGHT AWAY, even past midnight twice in a row, because these notary blocks are SUPER IMPORTANT. Christ. |
