" your fucked if you hate law"

This really needs a footnote that says "99.79% of people end up utterly detesting the practice of law and the profession as a whole within 2 years of graduation. The remaining 0.21% are judges or work in academia along with a few plum government positions."

TBH, as long as you're sure you'll be in the top 10% it's a pretty good decision regardless of the school you attend.

Idk about "regardless of the school you attend." I'd say that top 10% at a T100 + top journal + decent social intelligence = you'll be fine. obviously there are exceptions, but this is generally true about people I know from various schools.

I know some top 10% t30 ppl on law review who don't have jobs. but they're the minority. Anyway, I don't know of anything outside of law that's so certain either.

maybe if you held their hand in the interview that'd improve their chances of getting offered.

The problem with law school, or at least any law school other than Yale, is that even if you do really well, you still are going to have to be a lawyer.

Not many. Most are biglaw drones. Which is hell of a lot more profitable than other types of law but probably even lamer.

I spent probably half of my week this week e-mail about, and populating form documents, with various lender-approved notary blocks for dozens of form documents. Apparently this is worth $420 an hour for some giant corporation. And even though it's mind-numbingly boring, it needs to be done RIGHT AWAY, even past midnight twice in a row, because these notary blocks are SUPER IMPORTANT. Christ.
