GRRM: Winds of Winter in TWO YEARS

Date: March 22nd, 2012 12:02 AM Author: Charismatic Range Gaping Still, Martin is promising his fans a tad quicker finish to the sixth and penultimate book in the series, "The Winds of Winter." He says he already has 200 pages written and hopes to have it finished in two, maybe three years.

Like most women, Sansa was correct with her identification of the underlying problem, but her understanding of the problem was superficial at best and he solution would only make things worse. I don't know if this was intentional (I would like to think it was, but I don't have much faith in the writers at this point), but Sansa's exchanges with John practically mirrored the exchange between Sirsi and Jamie. In both instances, the males demonstrated an understanding of the situations that was far more nuanced and complete than that of their female counterparts. I am hopeful this means the story will progress with Jamie and John soon joining forces in a way that is akin to that of Ned and Robert. |
