I figure that the best way to take advantage of the curve is to spread as much apathy in my LS class as possible (by being an undercover gunner). I will pretend to be cool and disinterested, but actually be studying my ass off. I'll go around telling everyone how much they have it made, how law review isn't worth the effort I hear, and that studying can really fuck up your grades.

Any other hints for spreading apathy and laziness? i'm serious here. (handing out free pot is not an option - couldn't afford that).

Everyone does this, especially at finals. People will claim to have done no studying, yet obviously are lying.

i want to start early though. lots of rumor mongering about how easy it is if you're careful not to burn out early (social life is KEY).

also, would it be impossible to generate fake "old outlines" that would totally mislead people but look like real ones? or are their too many sources where people wouldn't notice they were f'd up?

I actually thought about this. For one thing it would be an honor code violation at most schools that you'd definitely get busted for. I was thinking more as a practical joke though, and just sticking outlandish shit into an outline. Not really worth the time it would take though.

As was pointed out, everyone does this.

Its another example of how this board is a huge source of disinformation.

You see thread after thread about how laid back places like MVP are, how everybody's getting great jobs, nothing to worry about, everyone goes out all the time, and nobody really works that hard.

Yeah right. Its crap. I've seen at least 250 posts in the past week about grades and when are we gonna get our grades and oh shit I've e-mailed the registrar 5 times and logged in 5 times and all that crap. Its just as intense at these places as it is anywhere else.

I want to get my grades, but that doesn't mean I put in much effort during the semester. I want to know out of curiousity and so I can start thinking about which firms I should interview with.
