Between all of these probable outcomes and the near certainty that our population will continue to get more and more brown (read: liberal), Republicans looking more and more permafucked on the national stage. |

and if you give up too much of your party's direction to narrow interest groups, you risk sudden and sharp backlashes when those interest groups implement policies that go wrong. iraq is a good example of that; it was pretty much the main reason the dems did so well in 2006 and 2008 and had that brief 60 seat majority.
and i really don't think you could look at something like iraq as a "good" policy for whites, or worthy of all the political attention it ended up demanding.
but yet, there are still powerful interest groups welcomed by the GOP who would like to repeat the exact same thing in iran.
if the GOP wants to become more of a white-interest party, it has to be smarter than that. |
