As far as improving my score, I think it was my self-prep that helped me, but going to the course made me feel a lot better about taking the test, and gave me a fair idea of what I should be doing to prepare (esp. on the logic games, which were my main weakness, but became my strongest section). Upon which another guy would do exactly the same thing.
