This has nothing to do with HLS, but I just saw on an ancient thread that you took a weekend LSAT prep course. Do you think it was worthwhile at all? I mean, did it help you out in the subsequent self-study that you presumably went on to do?

I did take a weekend prep class with Powerscore. As far as improving my score, I think it was my self-prep that helped me, but going to the course made me feel a lot better about taking the test, and gave me a fair idea of what I should be doing to prepare (esp. on the logic games, which were my main weakness, but became my strongest section). I think that it is an excellent value for the money.

Kagan's speech was fine and the reception was really nice- wine and great food. Went to Gypsy but it was a mistake- too much 80s or just plain weird music, expensive drinks, and TONS of bizarre, sketchy, dorky white guys with zero dancing ability who jumped into the circle with my roommates and I and stayed, bopping around or trying to grind on our asses, until they realized we weren't making eye contact.
