Yes, sleep deprivation sucks, but that's really only for the corp kids. What sucks for everybody, across the board, is the fact that the work is mind-numbingly boring that you can't imagine doing the rest of your life, you have no stake in anything to make it more exciting, everyone is a nebbish, risk-averse pussy, you don't really do anything of value so things like comma splices become ever so important, and you can't plan shit because your work comes completely at random ... with the added insult that it doesn't need to be that way, that it's the partner's way of justifying his billing rate to the client.
