In the military, the academy guys are god's chosen ones, and they get the best assignments, partly because they understand the military better than the rest of us. In industry, academy guys do very well, better than ivy guys on average because the academies don't let in artsy fartsy types who backpack across europe and write love poems to their transgendered roommates.
