The character wrote episodes for Wings (the actor was the main character on the show) and is expecting an advance for episodes of Law and Order. At one point he tells someone that he's meeting Dick Wolf and the other character (not sure if it's Chris or someone else) says "oh the guy who did NYPD Blue!"
Then there's D-girl in season 2 with Jon Favreau. Chris tells him that his character in Swingers was a bit of a fag. Favreau proceeds to write some shitty pseudo Pulp Fiction mob script. What makes the episode all the more hilarious is that Favreau was playing himself and probably didn't understand that show was making fun of him and Hollywood. |
