Details: Houston area #BlackLivesMatter supporter Monica Foy took to Twitter to insist that slain Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth deserved to be executed. Foy posted yesterday morning she couldn’t believe “so many people care about a dead cop and NO ONE has thought to ask what he did to deserve it.” She also posted he had “creepy perv eyes.” Foy’s Twitter account has now been deleted.
Last night she was arrested by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for an open assault causing bodily injury warrant from Harris County.
She was released on a $10,000 bond about 3am. It was September 9, 2011 that she assaulted a male co-worker. She probably has no idea at this point how many jobs she will likely be disqualified for or turned down for in the years to come, simply because of her posting. There have been enough news blogs reporting this story to ensure that a simple Google search of her full name will probably pull up this wonderful moment in her life.
Her major is English. This means she will more than likely wind up trying to get a job teaching our children. Hopefully her moral character improves before she get such a job.
Many employers are already doing Internet searches on prospective employees. I can only assume that as technology advances in the years to come that this little defect of a human being will only find it harder to find a job with this gigantic blunder attached to her forever thanks to her famous postings on the Internet. Foy lives in the Woodlands, just north of Houston, Texas.
Foy deleted the tweet after numerous individuals began criticizing her on the social media platform. Immediately prior to the offending tweet, Foy tweeted her support for #BlackLivesMatter. Her Facebook account shows that she studies English literature at Sam Houston University.
