I've used Uber a couple of times if I was worried about whether or not I'd get a cab at that time of day and I needed to get somewhere by a certain time (like to the airport). It's marginally more convenient not needing to fiddle around with credit cards for payment, and if you're going to/from outer boroughs, Uber could be cheaper than a cab.
I also have Lyft on my phone, but I've never used Lyft. |
