At 40 I will cut the benching down to 225 and the squatting to 315 and try to maintain. Havent decided whether I should still dead lift or how much.

I am convinced that squatting 300+ consistently has made me a stronger, healthier person as I get into my late 30's.

Don't do deadlifts. You will eventually get hurt. You could hurt yourself in a way that will cause you terrible problems for the rest of your life.

ty I'll try narrower grip. since I got back in the gym this year I've stayed away from bench until 2 months ago. I usually stick to dumbbell bench but need to get yuge for beach season
