i) repeal at some point before midterms but with significant concessions to these freedom clowns, i.e. bill is much further right.
ii) GOP leaves obamacare completely intact up until a point in the future at which it loses unified government and really can't do anything.
seems to me that #1 is way more likely, and dems completely refusing to compete with the far right be the junior partner to the mainstream GOP will give trump political cover to make concessions to freedoms that might not have otherwise flown with his base. no? |
