Lawyers think they can persuade by simply writing a letter with carefully thought out ideas and logically sound arguments.

LJL. Salesbros persuade people by listening to others' needs and desires then using their SPEAKING ABILITY to convince them to do XYZ and showing them how doing XYZ will benefit them and will help them achieve their goals.

Lawyers think persuading means criticism of the other person. And saying shit like, "LJL bro don't do that. Are you serious? This is what will happen to you..."

No one likes to get bossed around.
