Wish I had trained more for baseball vs football growing up. I was decent in HS but not anything spectacular.
Also wish my dad had me swing lefty starting out

I loved baseball so much. I was a latchkey kid and in the summer, I was kind of left to fend for myself. This included riding my bike to baseball practice. We used to play whiffle ball in the streets of the neighborhood and baseball practice was basically a more organized version.
I loved that when your team was up at bat, you could actually bullshit and tell jokes with your teammates in the dugout.
