She got an abortion when she learned of it. I only found out after the fact when she reached out to me to tell me because she felt that I "should know." She was super cool about it and told me she regretted nothing but it was her decision to make. Afterward she gave it some thought, then decided to tell me. At the time I was really unnerved by it so I didn't tell anyone, not even my closest friends. For some reason I have stayed mum about it over the years and I sort of doubt that I'll ever discuss it with anyone I know. I don't really find it embarrassing or upsetting so I don't know where the hesitancy comes from. Probably just the weirdness of never mentioning it in over a decade. ended up going from HS drop out to graduating college in 3 years with a near perfect GPA, copped scholarship for grad school. was a kooky time. |
