And don't even get me started on a Shaq or a Hakeem Olajuwon (if they were available). These big nasty true black nigs would put down 60%+ FG on the Warriors, with an even higher true shooting percentage from all the free throws. Don't forget that when Yao Ming got injured and Mutombo was playing his backup, he had 20 board games and was blocking shots left and right at 40 years old. Now imagine he's in his prime instead of a fossil, and he's not even a Top 5 center, to get an idea of why you cannot assume the elite 90s big men would perform similarly to a Lamarcus Aldridge or some other "star" of today. They are just on a completely different scale. The Warriors would be shell-shocked. Curry would be lucky to hit 3's in the mid 30's on Jordan and might even be in the high 20's. |
