i gave teaching HS a shot last fall, bc it is one of the few professions that are desperate for anyone who wants a career change, but then they only paid me like 37k or something and it was pure hell.
then i got a sales job and actually set a record for a new hire, but the office environment was full of nasty toxic people and i hated having to spend 10 hrs a week on the phone with ppl constantly listening to my calls.
right now i am doing sort of consultant-ish work with horrible hours and a lot of stress, so still applying like crazy trying to find something decent.
i'm not sure what the answer is. |
