The major consists of: Calculus Statistics Econometrics Business Law Corp Finance Spreadsheet Programming Business Ethics Business Writing 2 Finance electives (investment analysis, markets, options, futures) 2 Econ electives (money & banking, international econ, financial econometrics, applied financial analysis) 2 additional Econ electives
Thoughts on the strength of the cirriculum? |

Any desire to do PhD Econ? If so, double major in math. I sometimes wish I went this route.
I'd take the more "quantitative" econ classes mainly - econometrics, corp finance, financial economics, game theory, Applied financial analysis, etc. |

That's probably true for most prestigious entry-level neurotechnolgoy jerbs as well. But if you just find it interesting and don't necessarily want to make it into a career, then go for it. Unless you do a pre-professional major (think accounting or nursing) or you want to do something STEM-related, most majors are more or less interchangeable. Indeed, if you're at a prestigious school where something like banking is a realistic possibility, having an unusual major can work in your favor, because apparently they like hiring people with a variety of different backgrounds.
