depends on how well you study / cram / test take. it's definitely doable, but not doable for everyone.

ty ty.

i have heard this from everyone but i have been doing well on MBEs so far and know i tend to write on the slower side.

do you think my phobia re the essays is unwarranted and i should allocate slightly more time to MBE still?

Essays: always do IRAC. 1 sentence on I. 1-2 sentences on R, tops, and invent the rule if you forget. 3 sentences on A at most in most situations. Short sentence on C. Don't get bogged down, don't waste time, don't freak out, play the averages game.

be killing your MBE

don't focus on remembering all details for the essays, just make sure you have written enough in prep that you are in the groove

you need to be hitting 70% minimum, and better 80%, on the BarBri MBE practice sets 1-4 (ignore sets 5 and 6, they're mostly flame). you have to kill the MBE.

for the essays, it's a lot like law school, except you need to hit the primary issues and hit them well. unlike law school they do not want any policy bullshit. they also don't want deep analysis. using IRAC, they want mostly IRC. and they don't want you to go crazy with the I, but they do like more than less.

just by doing more PQs? any value to rereading outlines at this point?

not sure the barbri questions are even comparable to the real thing, but should i aim to do as many as possible?

yeah I think a lot of PQs, and when you make mistakes or guesses, go back to the outlines and materials to really understand the mistake and not make it again
