both would be new to me: one is in-house counsel for a university hospital, doing a range of anything non-litigation that comes up.
the other is working for a defense contractor, doing mostly government procurement law. both are local. both are within 20k of each other (and the one that pays less has better benefits) i have a good but generic corporate background that would make at least 80% of what i do in either job, new.
so really a question of which would be more enjoyable/have better career prospects. they both seem like they wouldn't be terrible. lots of hospitals. and defense seems like a good specialized area to be in- federal government/firm opportunities later. but really? no idea.
