No claims, no changes in coverage, nothing happened.

Yes almost all insurance companies have recently taken rate hikes.

Accidents are way up in the past few years due to cell phones and distracted driving. With the aggressive plaintiffs firms in LA, auto insurers are barely profitable (or are losing money) in LA.

Just shop it some. I was poasting about this a while ago. My fraudlies homeowners company tried to almost double after year 1. First alternative quote I got was <75% of what I had been paying in year 1, for better coverage. There was almost a 3:1 difference.
