Before any of the facts were out, it's true that many of us felt no sympathy for the victims. I still don't. They are not the peaceful angels the media portrays (and inevitably portrays, see Trayvon).

These were antifa/BLM/literal communist scum, who showed up to the rally with riot gear and weapons, along with feces and urine bottles. They also were blocking the road.

I don't think many would defend the driver if in fact he ruthlessly tried to kill the "protestors" (though the facts are still being developed). If people defend him, that is a minority position.

But what you see here is reason, not bullshit emotional ploys. I was watching the big brawls before the car thing, and it was two groups of morons fighting each other, duking it out in the street. Liberals even set up a medical facility to treat their injured. Both sides wanted violence and this is what they received.

But you are creating a strawman here. I didn't use any of those terms. Instead, I used correct descriptiors that are crucial to understanding the situation. One side was Nazis and white nationalists while the other was Antifa/BLM/communist scum. Go on with your histrionics all you want, but they are everything wrong with society.
