I would go to a river tons of boomers fly fish and just use a live grasshopper and a hook and catch bigger fish. Can also beat fly fishing by using a spinner. I have caught a fish using a gummy bear as bait. Fish are stupid as fuck

Meanwhile these "dudes" are trying to figure out exactly which species of insect is hatching that day and use a fly that looks like it. They spend thousands on gear and make it out to be some spiritual experience. Ljl

First time I went fly fishing I used a worm and it was a cast/catch/cast/catch day. People started cursing me from rafts/kayaks as they passed.

lol at going to the same part of the river as these boomers and just having a stick with 10 fishing lines coming off of it with gummy bears on the end and catching more fish

I love to fish, but fly fishing seems like a lot of effort to catch some little river trout.
