how can you work you ass off from 9 to 5 in an office environment and then see big brother take away your money because of things called state/federal tax, social security...how can u stand to see that in your paystub and not wish to have ur taxes reduced?

I know people who would much rather work less for a lower pay because if you work longer, you earn more, and get taxed more, and sometimes all that hardwork don't mean much because you're not earning significantly more than when you worked less and earned less cause TAXES.

If you're unemployed and rely on the government, then I get voting Democrat. but for the average working male who likely is the sole breadwinner, not voting GOP is just plain stupid.

i suppose the counter-argument is that the gain from government programs backed by democrats outweighs the costs paid in taxes. but as a young, healthy guy the ACA was a net loss and i'm still waiting on all those "green-collar" jobs...

what programs? working adult men dont qualify for social programs unless they work at mcdonalds or have 5+ kids and wife dont work.

public schools are destroyed by the unions who reduce the teaching quality.

roads, bridges, infrastructure that our taxes are meant to be used on... well ... It's pretty obvious democrats don't really do much except say they will fix all that with our taxes but don't

student loans from government? they have increased college price like he'll cause now everyone qualified!

Obama care? say hello to part time and low wage jobs cause employers can't afford obamacare

i was just playing devil's advocate, albeit in an extremely half-hearted manner, if you couldn't tell.

The ACA is an absolute abomination for the young & the middle class.

Really doesn't get the heat it deserves.

depends on how much you make. if you're not in the top 2 or 3 tax brackets, D plans are often better, esp. when you consider GOP desire to nix state and federal deduction.

not at all. conservaheroes advocate for a nice quasi flat tax rate where the lowest earners pay very very little and as you earn more you won't pay significantly more.

Also, remember, dems love sales tax, gas tax, property tax, and fees... The average person pays all of this
