Outlook data files for everyone. No longer employed. Not my fault, but they didn't see it that way. I just figured if you leave the door to the server room wide open you won't bother to check the cameras. One | Wrong | Move.

Law firms think that emails sent by partners are private and shouldn't be seen or shared with other employees by non-partners.

when i was interning at some corporation in college, IT accidentally backed up a bunch of personnel files to the server that we were using to back up our own files. no encryption or anything. we told them, and they said one of their guys must have accidentally mistyped the directory letter. apparently this wasn't the first time this had occurred.

Two weeks ago was my last day at my firm and my boss gave me until midnight to to get all of my docs off the system. Despite this, IT disabled my printing and USB capabilities so I had to do it all by email. I sent out over a thousand docs by email over the course of three hours and crashed the server. My boss got in a ton of shit for leaving me access to the servers and the firm wants to sue me (they won't).
