I've heard guys using bump stocks at my local range and they sound legit fully automatic. Not sure why anyone would want full auto or a bump stock though, aside from spree killings and suppressive fire.

He probably laid down prone using bipods or got a rest off the window glass. The distance from the window to the front of the stage is 386 yards roughly, which would make the middle of the crowd at about 425-450 yards (saw a google maps image of the area). Secondly, the target size he's shoot at is literally the area of the hotel. He's not aiming to put 3 rounds under MOA, he's just aiming to make sure his shots are hitting at 425~ yards or so. It's a target rich environment with thousands of people shoulder to shoulder. They said there were 22,000 people there. Even if you "miss" at what you're aiming at, you can't miss because you hit the person right to the one you were aiming at. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. The most difficult task he had was changing his mags. You can hear it with how long it takes for him to reload.
