I'd love to have two more, but husband is still on the fence about kids beyond 2.

I tried to write this feeling down in like 8 different ways but they all sounded cheesy, but... I think we really just feel like we have too much pent up love that we want to share with another kid. And we love kids. And we want our first kid to have a brother or sister. But really we just want to be in a family with more kids. If for some reason we can't have them, we'll adopt. Do you want no more kids?

It feels like the close relationship I have with my brothers is attributable quite a bit to the proximity of our ages. That might be bullshit, but I feel we grew close from experiencing going through the same shit together and leaning against each other as we grew up. I'd love for my kids to have that. Also I'm much older than you so I probably shouldn't wait a long time!

Yeah, kinda :/

Yea. Most people seem to want their kids closer together than 5 years.

I also do have some time. I'm 30 and 1 down 1 more left.

It's good to enjoy pregnancy! I think anyone would be so lucky to have you as a mother so it's good you are into it. It will make the world a better place :D.

I don't use recipes really, but just kind of keep adding ingredients that are stewing in a pot. Usually start by sauteeing onion with celery, carrot, garlic, with salt/pepper and maybe some herbs. Then add a can of tomatoes. Then the softer vegetables like zucchini and squash and maybe a can of white beans. Maybe some chicken stock. (Or if adding meat, maybe I would have put some sausage in back in step 1.) I like to let some chopped kale or spinach wilt over that for texture. But really, anything goes.

Able to do most steak cuts (varying thicknesses) to perfect medium rare with a nice sear/char on the outside on both my backyard grill and on the cast iron skillet. Actually took a pretty good amount of trial and error.

just getting used to the timing and learning to trust myself, since most cuts are best at ultra high heat for a pretty short period of time. temp and time for a skirt or hanger steak is going to be different than for something that's an inch and a half thick. i've gotten good enough (sorry it sounds so douchey) that we usually do a steak or two whenever we have company over, just so my GF can show off to her friends.

for backyard stuff, just start off with hanger steak. it's relatively inexpensive and easy to cook, also good with marinades if that's your bag. work up to more expensive stuff.

when it comes to high quality, i prefer strip steaks to something like a ribeye when i'm on the grill, just because the fat in a ribeye tends to flare up like crazy.

Cooking is one of the most fulfilling things you can start doing right now if you aren't already doing it. I'm amazed by how many people don't really pick it up until their late 20's or 30's (I'm one of 'em).

Linguine with clams is a good dish to start with. It was my first dish and it gets tastier every time.

Canned is fine to start. Move to the fresh clams later on because it's just another thing you can fuck up as a beginner.

I have a lot of apples and peanuts right now. I just bought a bunch at the store and I use what I have. It makes cooking way more fun imo, and I like to use ingredients in unusual ways

I originally made it because I had run out of store-bought salsa, and I had a bunch of tortilla chips left, but I put that salsa on some grilled salmon I made yesterday and it was like a match made in heaven.

It was also quite good with the tortilla chips.

I'm naturally a good cook but I don't cook anymore, people cook for me. I used to cook a perfect ribeye. Now, I'm trying to look into hiring a food taster because I never handle any of my food preparation, and I wouldn't put it past someone to try to poison me.
