It was a suite opening onto a private courtyard filled with tropical vegetation and palm trees and you could take the stairs up to a private pool that you could swim in 24/7. We got back late one night from a do at the Singapore Cricket Club and they opened the pool just for us at about midnight.
PS: plus its also walking distance from all the central Singapore attractions |

We were there without kids and we turned up at the restaurant and were waiting at the bar for a table and we noticed they had a S$500 a head Chef's tasting menu so we said hey can we have that and hey presto we get a table immediately and then enjoy seven courses of the most sublime Asian food imaginable. |

Honestly, Grand Pelican in Ft. Lauderdale is pretty sweet, I love that hotel. It's prole, no doubt, but the set up of that hotel is superb.
3 room suite @ Belagio - very nice.
1 George Street in Charleston.
Governor's suite @ Market Street Pavilion in Charleston was really nice - stayed there for my wedding.
1801 First in Napa was really, really nice. Same with The Farm in Carneros.
Cabo Surf hotel in CSL was pretty sweet.
