I agree its not like HYPS or Cambridge but the best ones are light years ahead of any middling US state school. Plus:
- it costs a tiny fraction of US costs so kids aren't debtpwned for life
- not afflicted with diversity and insane shitlib issues, in fact there is NO AA AT ALL, its all on HS grades and you don't have to waste time loading up on stupid extracurriculars
- you can go and do grad school anywhere
- you can do law or med straight out of HS in 5 years and graduate much earlier than US peers |

for example nyuug, who has admitted to getting 30th percentile gre scores, got into a top korean uni and got a presumably ok job in korea b/c he got a shithumanities degree at nyu.
all else equal i would send my kid to a school like u texas in a heartbeat over anu.
meanwhile you're making it harder for your kid to get into a top US school (or any US school). |
