Wake up around 7 AM, feed and change toddler, and play with him until 9 AM
Husband then takes over toddler care from 9AM-11 AM, while I shower, dress, respond to a few work emails, and read news.
At 11 AM, toddler goes to sleep. I do laundry, vacuum, shop for groceries, and respond to more work emails.
When toddler wakes at 1 PM, we have lunch and play until babysitter arrives at 3 PM. We either have a family lunch at a nearby cafe, or eat at home, and then go play in the park downstairs, then get ice cream together.
Babysitter arrives at 3. She cares for toddler from 3-8 PM. I work-out, do some reading, answer work emails or prep for media stuff, and have an early dinner.
At 8, I come home and put toddler to bed.
I post, read on my deck or sit in the jacuzzi, and relax from 8-9/9:30.
I go to bed at 9:30. It's a simple, honest life, and not an awful one. |
