It wasn't what we wanted. Biglaw partner totally stared his associate down and threw him under the bus. I could only imagine the reaming out he gave him as soon as the presentation was over. It was an afterthought thing, like "it would have been nice if you had projected this through X year instead of Y year." The partner immediately just threw his associate under the bus and said it was "on them" and that they would do another seminar for us, free of charge, of course.
