All week long, 90% of the bort was MAF at Bad Motherfucker and insisted he was a Watchmen alt. I repeatedly said that they don't sound anything alike, but the pseudo intellectuals insisted it was "obvious" BM was an alt, and this was "self-evident." I even bet 1 ETH because I was so sure.

Today we found out that BM was actually coldplay fan, pulling a masterful week long troll job.

Another amusing component to this is that many poasters had worked themselves up into a frenzy this week about BM's changes to MPM. They clearly took it extremely seriously. But now that BM was just flaming, they are trying to downplay what they did.

Charles XII is a perfect example. He presumed himself to be a safe win for MPM, so he spent an entire week bashing Bad Motherfucker and freaking out about the changes he wanted to make to one of the bort's most "hallowed traditions."

It got so over the top that Askav created a petition for Charles XII to run the contest, and the two spent a while discussing the particulars of optimal MPM format policy.

Now that the crisis has been averted, he refers to MPM as a "gay Internet contest." Extremely lulzy.
