I get it. If you want to buy it and keep it for 15 years, then the LC makes a lot more sense. Most people don't do that, and most people won't use 99% of what a LC is capable of. To that end, if I'm going to actually spend serious time in rough terrain, I'm not spending $85-100k on a LC. Like I said above, 4Runners, especially shit like the TRD-Pro are capable as all fuck, have crawl modes, etc, and you don't have to worry about them getting banged up.
