Do I ask what they're looking for? What they usually worry about when they hire someone?
I feel like this is all sales, and I have sales skills. I just need to know what angle to work. Lawyers are risk-averse people, so how do I make myself seem like a safe choice without being boring? |

This is actually my 2nd interview with this firm, it's with a different guy, and I think they gave me this follow up interview because they either felt sorry for me or recognized that I was hustling my ass off making connections and thought maybe I had an "IT" quality. |

One if you were "it" you wouldn't be a retard with below average grades. Two they think you're an idiot working "connections" and neglecting important things - your grades.They aren't hiring you to be a rainmaker the first year and basically you have shown you negligent hard work and ability to produce quality irrespective of your "sales quality'.
