If I bid well above the ask, will that trigger all the lowest sell orders up to the quantity I ordered? Or would I actually pay at the price of this buy order (and the exchange keeps the difference)? |

So if I bid 1 BTC for 1 BCH they won't knock my price down to whatever the asks are sitting at currently, giving me like 11 BCH, I'll just get the 1 BCH
I hope you meant former or else this exchange sucks (no market orders for buys) |

so they do adjust your sell price if you try to sell at below market, but idk about the buy side (it's looking bad)

fuck this, the last exchange I was on let you buy or sell at market rate against the other side's orders and would tell you the average price you were buying or selling at
do other major exchanges have that? |
