LL Bean looks like it is headed the same way as A&F, EB etc. I mean 20 plus years ago there was a lot of high quality outdoor gear (remember willis and Geiger when it was lands end’s high end offering). Now fabrics are cheap and thin and the stuff falls apart even on a lot of the expensive stuff. Everyone buys online or at outlet malls and no one cares about quality. It’s all made in the same factories in China. |
