Getting into one of those schools will be so ecstatic and life changing that I would be glad to drop 3K on such a bet. It would easily be the happiest day of my life, and I would cry like a newborn baby.

Even the upscale clubs here are reasonably easy to get into, unless it's brand new like Manor, and is thus really hot. After about 6 months or so, it gets filled up with dudes again. Crowd control is definitely a major problem here.

There are a lot of hot girls at these clubs, especially Rino and Y-Bar, but most of them don't look too classy. It's really hard to find "model" types in Chicago unless you're a part of the "IN" crowd. A friend of mine, who's the biggest player I know, told me that the hottest girls he's seen in Chicago were actually at house parties, not clubs. According to him, a lot of the really hot girls don't like to drink and prefer low-key activities on the weekends. I thought it was an interesting observation.

Wharton places better than Booth with regards to MBB consulting, on a per capita basis. The difference is actually substantial from what I've seen. And although Booth is rapidly rising, Wharton still has a better name, worldwide reputation, and a stronger network. On the other hand, harper center is amazing, and Chicago is a much better city than Philly. From a social standpoint, my friends at Booth did not feel that the flexible curriculum impeded their social lives. The thing about b-school is that there's so much stuff going on, you can easily find activities and people to hang out with. It's basically non-stop partying and travelling for 2 years.

Wharton does have a better social scene than Booth though. The latter is definitely dorkier while the former has a lot more attractive girls and a student body that is much more inclined to excessive partying.
