Xmas party at friends house in suburbs. Is it assumed I will crash there?

He's having a dope Christmas party I will be attending.
If this were 7 years ago, it would be assumed that I could just crash at his house after the party.
Now ~30 in age.
Am I dumb to just assume I can pass out on his couch or extra bedroom at the end of the party? Or should I plan on training/ubering back to city at end of night?
Or perhaps get hotel. Actually this sounds like it could be a 180 idea no matter what. |
