That said, I may cancel mine next year and do AMEX Plat just to cop the intro bonus. |

EX: you used to be able to cop an amtrak ticket same day for 4500 points from NY to DC. That would often be like a $150 ticket. Thats like 16 cents a point. |

It can be worth it if you care about/take advantages of the card perks--travel and rental insurance, lounge access, price matching on purchases, etc. |
