44s can shoot 44 or 44 spec, 357s can shoot 357 or 38 spec, and .45 long colt can shoot 45LC and .410 IIRC

Get something fun to shoot. Like .22.

I have a titanium .44 that I never shoot because it's not fun. It has one purpose, to kill bears.

Get a CZ-75 or one of those Dan Wessons with the interchangeable barrels if you want a revolver.

If he cared about aesthetics there are far better options than some BRUTISH firearm. Notice how there is only one great painting of a suicide by firearm:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Paintings_about_suicide

Poison, stabbing, and leaping are all more prestigious and aesthetic.

Aesthetics in the modern world are far less tangible. Emulating your idols' suicides holds more meaning than some crime scene photos nobody will see.

lol at lawyers dreaming about guns because they watched the punisher or dirty harry movies or whatever

My dad/grandfather's 1100 (semi) is the only gun I've ever owned and it still works like new despite being at least 35 years old and having thousands of rounds fired through it

The main benefit to pump guns is just that you can get a quality built one for cheaper or if you plan on using wacky types of ammo for some reason. Any decent semiauto is still built like a rock
