It’s not likely that adderall has effects like that given that women have been taking amphetamines for decades with only infrequent birth issues. But the reality is that they don’t test drugs on pregos and never will so it is best to avoid unnecessary drugs while pregnant especially during the first trimester. If she can’t live without that’s fine, kid will probably be okay (even accurane onky caused birth defects 25% of the time) but if she can, she probably should abstain because the unknowns are just to great.
