Say, higher chance to be autistic or 3 IQ points lower which would be very hard to tie to addy in the near-term. |

On another platform, I wrote a policy proposal about how, instead of Nuremberg etc., we should instead have a list of the most valuable-to-humanity experiments that cannot be performed right now, so that, if a Nazi Germany comes around again, the human experimentation doesn't go to waste. (Apparently Mengele's experiments held some fascination re: frostbite but not much else). |

My uncle turned out to have severe cerebral palsy - both mentally and physically retarded and required 24/7 care through adulthood until he died.
Many doctors don't know shit and there are a lot of unknown effects of relatively new drugs.

It’s not likely that adderall has effects like that given that women have been taking amphetamines for decades with only infrequent birth issues. But the reality is that they don’t test drugs on pregos and never will so it is best to avoid unnecessary drugs while pregnant especially during the first trimester. If she can’t live without that’s fine, kid will probably be okay (even accurane onky caused birth defects 25% of the time) but if she can, she probably should abstain because the unknowns are just to great. During her third pregnancy she started smoking 1.5-2 packs because the fentanyl patches they gave her after surgery made her crave nicotine. Daughter was born 5 pounds lighter than the first two but they were boys. I don't think smoking is as bad as big pharma wants you to believe, and I doubt adderall is any worse.
