I fucking hate leather/imitation leather seats. You have to maintain it if you're the type to keep a car for a long time, and cloth is more comfortable + doesn't hotbox/icebox your asshold depending on the weather. Good cloth seats are 180 as fuck.

I like a good set of steering wheel controls as well. My Ford is pretty intuitive and has everything in a natural position. Chrysler products are TTT in this regard and put a bunch of shit on the back of the wheel where you can't see them.

Which is why it's dumb and broken.

I just want to be able to stream my phone screen to the car's screen for whatever app I'm using. It doesn't need to care what app is being run.

Safety is a pretty big reason to have a different implementation. Don't want to let idiots watch movies on their car screen. Also the user interface needs are different for something you're meant to interact with while driving

Oh yeah... a light bar. My truck had a professinally installed $1,000 light bar when I bought it. I thought it was ridiculous until I used it. They're the most underrated thing I would have ever imagined. It's amazing how much they light up the road.

mine seems to be good even for pedestrians and does capture cyclists, bikers etc

the only problem i see is with extremely fast bike riders who drive in between lanes. they dont show up when you start the lane change and then suddenly zoom past but that problem will be there even with a visual check

Blind spot monitors are a near necessity in light of the trend of higher wasted cars (due to tougher side impact requirements). For older cars, it is not necessary.

BSM/crash sensors is a must.

Of course, a ridiculously powerful engine that borders on absurdity for the SUV I'm driving.

I would sacrifice basically all creature comforts for a car that is fun to drive. Any car you get, you adjust to the features it has but you can't make a slow car fast.

I prefer leather seats but can live with cloth (presently do)

I'd like to have blue tooth/auxiliary connectivity but if the car doesn't have it, you can get a cheap adapter on amazon.

Never use heated seats and controlling the climate manually has never been an issue.

I don't like relying on the back up camera
