I think Tyson would go in at 220 and Mayweather would bulk up to 200 if he had six months to do so. If only 20 lb difference, Tyson.

There's a video of Floyd sparring with a 5'10" heavyweight, and he clowns him. You can find it on youtube. It's the one where Floyd calls him a bitch repeatedly while sparring him and then the dude gets pissed and he's like YOU'RE A BITCH. So it's def possible Floyd could hang with Tyson. It's even possible he could hang with a prime Tyson if he fought completely on the outside and stayed on his toes.

He would hang with a prime 88 or 89 Tyson easily. Tyson wasn't a very skilled fighter, and he was short for a heavyweight. Everyone knows that. The whole Cus D'Amato peek a boo shit ain't gonna fly with a master boxer and incredible athlete like Floyd. And that 72" reach is going to come into play too. What that means is Floyd COULD execute a game plan to stay entirely on the outside against Tyson and be somewhat effective.

CR. Prime Tyson would murder Prime Mayweather. Even if Floyd was more skilled, 70 lbs of pure muscle is an impossible advantage to overcome.

Nah. Mayweather has a one inch reach advantage over Tyson. He could just jab and bounce around on his toes and throw an occasional straight right hand. Tyson would win the fight but the scenario you described would absolutely not happen. Tyson wouldn't be landing anything flush on Floyd. Floyd is too smart and evasive and would know what to do.

What you mean the same Mayweather who is the most elusive to ever lace up gloves in the history of the sport? The one who has been training with heavy neck harness for 20 years? That's the one who would be getting hit with flush shots by a short heavyweight with a much lower skill level? Maybe if he went toe to toe with him. But that's not what would happen.

You're not getting what I'm saying. I think Floyd could HANG with prime Tyson and dazzle and frustrate him. The judges would give Tyson a UD, sure. But Floyd could easily go the distance and avoid getting hit with flush shots. He would stay on his toes all 3 minutes of every round and avoid entering a pocket or close range. Floyd could even tie him up occasionally. Floyd is strong physically even though he has no power. That's an abstract concept maybe for you to understand. And Tyson never had a big win in his prime anyway. He went into all his fights with supreme fear instilled in his opponent. That wouldn't be a factor against Floyd.

No, he has never cried except a couple times as a professional. He cried after beating Hatton but he was smiling while crying and it was kinda strange. The whole thing about Floyd not being able to read was a stupid rumor, which is why he never addressed it. Any real boxing person knows Floyd has been reading teleprompters his whole life. There's video of him reading teleprompters with no issue. He has always had a little stuttering problem but he's gotten better with that.

Floyd had a rough childhood. He was living with 5 people in a one bedroom for a long period of time. His father sold crack and his mother was a crack addict. There was an incident once where someone wanted to shoot Floyd Sr with a shotgun and he picked up little Floyd (that's what they used to call him) and used him as a shield. The guy instead blasted Floyd Sr in the leg while he was holding little Floyd in his arms. Floyd Sr still has a huge scar on his bottom left leg which he rarely ever has shown media. There's video of it on youtube. That's a true story. I could go on but you get the idea.

I give you that Tyson was a poet though.

The biggest issue with “Prime Tyson” is that he never really beat anyone of consequence. Holyfield and Lewis beat a version of Tyson fairly easily. And both of those fighters would kill Mayweather. That suggests that”Prime” Tyson would also kill Mayweather, but you never know
