I also have migraine headaches behind my left eye from time to time. Usually induced by too much screen time or just work in general.

yeah, emergency departments are great for that sort of thing, yell at the nurses until they give you a sandwich, tell them your chest hurts and you need someone now, things like that. Remember, all of your diseases are acute and terrible and you need many scans now. These people can not refuse you.

benign fasciculation syndrome--i have had it for almost 25 yrs..you will likely start getting cramps and paresthesias...and the twitches will slowly spread all over your body...literally..

google aboutbfs for help...there is no cure...

that is exactly where it started with me in the early 90s..I worked for a short time with someone who had a twitching eyelid...then I did seem to have some sort of flu or virus...made me tired for a couple days...then after that the eyelid started twitching...within a couple years it spread all over...then the paresthesias and cramps started...

I went to a doc in 95 and asked him about it, and he asked me whether i had had any cold sores...I said yes...

i no longer have cold sores, not for many years...

if it does spread, it's almost certainly BFS...don't worry about it...

however, it may just go away...or it may just remain as low level twitches that arise when you lose sleep or drink too much booze or caffeine.

don't worry about it, either way...also, don't worry about it becoming ALS...the chances of that are very slim.

it started with the eyelids, and now it goes anywhere. arms, legs, stomach, shoulders, you name it. tremors and twitching.

I have it as well and I find it easily controlled by:

1. making sure I get enough of all electrolytes (magnesium, potassium and calcium). In winter, take vitamin d supplements as well so your body can use calcium.

2. Getting a lot of exercise. The fasciculations are strongly associated with weakening muscles, such as if you're a bodybuilder who stops lifting.
