it's not a truck, but i want to say there was at least one luxury car brand accepting bitcoin.
...if you just pay with bitcoin rather than turning it into USD, does that change the tax game, at least as the government's awareness is concerned?

Unwind crypto into HKD and deposit in HK bank. Transfer HKD to 2nd foreign bank that will issue you an ATM card on one of the networks supported in the US (e.g. Cirrus). Withdraw cash in the US.
At this point, up to you to figure out how to package the cash into something that won't freak out a car dealership. You could probably buy a stack of money orders from some payday lending place.
Bigger picture, if you're going to do this regularly, use the money to buy a coin laundry, hair salon, etc. to launder that shit properly.

That's not a bad idea, but those attract a lot of attention. Coin laundries (discussed this before on here) are excellent because they're super low key and can operate almost unattended (you can even automate doors opening / closing + cameras, etc).
Put one in a neighborhood with mexicans, and they'll never fuck it up or complain if a machine eats their moneu. It goes w/o saying, stay away from black neighborhoods.
Only downside I can see is that w/ illegal immigration on the down trend, less customers I'd imagine.
